Open Wide the Doors
We are in the midst of our Annual Stewardship Renewal—a time to prayerfully reflect on how each of us is called to support our parish through prayer, service and giving.
Stewardship is a way of life rooted in gratitude. When we recognize all we have comes from God, we are moved to give back in service to His Church and one another.
Our parish thrives because of your generosity of time —whether teaching, assisting at Mass, visiting the sick, or serving in other ministries. Your financial support is also essential. It maintains our sacred spaces, supports staff, and funds parish programs. Most importantly, it furthers our mission of evangelization, education, and service.
Prayer is the foundation of all we do. Please pray for our parish to grow in unity and holiness. In the weeks ahead, our ministry leaders will share their plans and needs. In September, I will present our 2025–26 budgets and invite you to complete a stewardship commitment card at Mass.

A prayer for stewardship
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the abundant gifts You have bestowed upon us, both individually and as the St. John Paul II family. As we embark on our annual stewardship renewal, we humbly ask to do Your will.
Holy Spirit, open our hearts to recognize the many ways we can share our time, talent, and treasure in the building up of the Kingdom and our parish. Inspire us to be generous stewards, always mindful that all we have comes from God.
Lord Jesus, strengthen our resolve to answer your call to missionary discipleship, following the example of our beloved St. John Paul II, who dedicated his life to your service. May our renewed commitment to stewardship bring forth a harvest of heavenly grace, strengthening our community and furthering Your mission in the world. In Your name we pray. Amen.
