Enhanced Offertory

Open Wide the Doors is an ongoing commitment to strengthening our parish family through increased offertory support. This additional annual support helps fund the work of our parish and school and allows us to recruit and retain excellent staff who carry out this important mission.

The shared task of our St. John Paul II Parish Family is evangelization: sharing our faith, hope and love in concrete ways with one another and with those around us. We seek to serve those who want to know more about Christ and those who want their children to grow in faith and be guided on their journey. We strive to be present to those most in need in our community and to be a place of renewal, hope and dignity. Your offertory support makes this mission possible, providing the foundation for ministries that serve people at every stage of life.

What Planned Giving Is:

A planned gift is a charitable donation from your estate. It is a way for you to leave a legacy behind for future generations.

Legacy gifts come in many forms and provide substantial, even essential, support for our parish family. There are many forms of estate gifts that you can consider. We can assist you to explore your options in collaboration with your attorney and/or tax advisor.

PPRRSM

Achieving Excellence on our Properties

As we come together as a parish family, we are looking at our shared home, and there is much to be done to enhance our spaces and accommodate growth in our ministries. To that end, a comprehensive list of renewal and replacement projects has been developed in a proactive fashion. Some of the projects have been accomplished thanks to some initial contributions to our PPRRSM funds. To allow us to address the current scope of projects, and prepare for future projects, we have established a Provision for Plant Replacement, Renewal, and Special Maintenance, or PPRRSM (pronounced prism) fund at each campus.

Enhanced Offertory

The Annual Fund supports the annual operation of our parish school which focuses on staff, programs, and affordability for our families. In the past seven years, thanks to the generosity of many parishioners and past and current Bishop Leibold parents we have increased our Annual Fund, we have raised more than $650,000. The Annual Fund enables us to be more aggressive with teacher and staff compensation and classroom resources, impact affordability for our families through tuition assistance, expand student retreat programs and enhance our student and classroom technology resources. It is vital to our success each year that our supporters renew their support while we also generate new contributors.

Donating to a Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO)

Every single taxpayer in Ohio is eligible to make this designated gift (up to $750 or $1,500 if married, filing jointly) and receive a dollar-for-dollar State of Ohio Tax Credit. This gift has no cost! You have the ability to tell the state where you want some of your tax dollars to go.

Bishop Leibold awards over $100,000 annually in scholarships and financial aid to students in K-8.
