Through our Support Our Seminarians program, we help cover the cost of education and formation for those discerning the priesthood or religious life. When a mother faces an unexpected pregnancy, she should not have to face it alone. The Community Pregnancy Center in Middletown offers compassionate care, practical resources, and genuine hope to women and families during vulnerable moments. The Knights of Columbus are proud to support them by providing financial assistance (over $70,000 in the past few years), volunteer service, and prayerful encouragement. Our commitment is straightforward: every life deserves a loving and supported beginning, and every mother deserves to know that she is not alone.

Among the most vulnerable lives we encounter are the tiniest — newborns affected by Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, born into circumstances they didn't choose. Brigid's Path in Kettering offers these babies the specialized, loving care they need to have a fighting chance. Sometimes, living out our faith means looking beyond our own backyard. KumboKids is a Dayton-rooted organization transforming young lives in Africa through education, nutrition, and opportunity. The Knights of Columbus support KumboKids financially, through prayer, and volunteer involvement — because our call to serve the poor doesn't stop at a border. The generosity of our local Catholic community has the power to reach across the world, and through KumboKids, it does exactly that.

That's why the Knights of Columbus proudly support Scouting America and the Girl Scouts through financial contributions and prayer. Scouting helps young people grow into men and women of integrity, courage, and service — values that align perfectly with who we are as Knights. Every December, the Knights of Columbus proudly stand with Wreaths Across America — donating funds and volunteering our hands to place and recover wreaths on the graves of our nation's fallen heroes. The Knights proudly support the Avenue of the Flags — a beloved community tradition honoring those who served our nation. In partnership with the Springboro Optimist Club, we provide American flags to local residents for five patriotic holidays each year: Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and Veterans Day. For our Knights, this is about more than flags — it's about remembrance, gratitude, and ensuring the sacrifices of those who served are never taken for granted. Patriotism is not just a feeling. It's a commitment.

There is something deeply meaningful about sitting with someone who simply needs to know they haven't been forgotten. Our Knights make regular visits to elderly parishioners, widows, and widowers — offering companionship, a helping hand, and the quiet reminder that they are loved and valued. For many of our members, these visits are among the most rewarding things they do as Knights. The Franklin Food Pantry serves as a lifeline for neighbors experiencing hunger and hardship, and the Knights of Columbus are proud to support their mission through financial contributions, volunteer service, and prayerful solidarity. Our donations help fund the organizing, stocking, and distribution of supplies, making a direct and meaningful impact. Supporting others in this way reflects our shared values and allows us to bring hope and assistance to our neighbors in the Miamisburg area.

When a local family hits a crisis — job loss, illness, unexpected hardship — the Springboro Community Assistance Center is often the first place they turn. The Center provides food, clothing, and critical resources to neighbors in need, and the Knights stand beside them every step of the way. Through financial support, and prayerful encouragement, we help ensure that no one faces their hardest moments alone. Caring for those in need isn't just something we do — it's a core expression of who we are as Catholic men.

Our 4th Degree Knights proudly serve as Color and Honor Guards at Springboro's Veterans Day, Memorial Day, and Christmas Parades. They also stand in service at special religious ceremonies, including Masses celebrated by the Archbishop or Auxiliary Bishops, and our parish's Confirmation and First Communion celebrations. It is a visible, powerful witness to the values we hold dear: faith, patriotism, and service. As Knights of Columbus, one of our most meaningful contributions to the parish community is providing meals for retreats.
