Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit (vitae spiritualis ianua), and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Baptism Preparation

Parents are expected to participate in a preparation program before infant Baptism, preferably during pregnancy. Classes are offered bi-monthly in the St. Mary of the Assumption Church. To register for the next Baptism class, contact the St. Mary of the Assumption Church office.

Baptisms are usually celebrated after scheduled Masses.

Adults and children older than 7 years old wishing to be baptized should call the parish office for information about Becoming Catholic (OCIA).
